Readsboro, Vermont- Another Look at Ye Olde Coach Inn. Operated for many many years as an Inn by the Coe Family. Today it is a residence. A safe room for runaway slaves on the Underground Railroad is sealed off. The superstructure has huge 1' x 1' handhewn beams which form tripods in the attic with 1"steel threaded bars running down through the First Floor Ceiling to support the second floors floor so the walls could all be removed to open space for shindigs and hoedowns. The wooden bathtub and toilet were still there too.
