WilsonHouse.jpg

The Wilson Hotel, Main Street  North Adams, MA  circa 1880.  Located on the site where MCLA/NASC runs an Art Gallery currently! Oddly enough, just a couple of months after President Teddy Roosevelt visited, it burned nearly to the ground. Most of the first floor was saved. Floor tile-work on the first floor still remains in some of the business establishments located there today.

Hey Folks-
This was the South side of Main Street in North Adams during the "Old Home Week" in 1910. The beautiful masonry buildings were all torn down during Urban Renewal in the late 1960's. This must never be allowed to happen again! StateLine Realty supports the preservation of Historic, and architecturally significant housing and buildings. We would humbly ask that you do the same in your community. StateLine Realty is a Member of The Trust for Historic Preservation #056508872 thru january 2010
